Some of the answers to the most popular questions

What is the nearest airport?

The only airport serving the island is Lanzarote Airport, also known as Arrecife Airport.

How far is the airport from the villas?

Lanzarote airport is a short 25 minute drive from all 3 villas.

Is there a beach nearby?

Yes!  Playa Blanca has many beautiful beaches but the closest to all villas is, Playa Dorada Beach.  Depending which villa you are staying in, this is up to a 20 minute walk.

How far to the nearest shops?

This depends on which villa you are staying in.  If staying at Villa Mariesa the nearest supermarkets are located beside Villa Katarina at the San Marcial Roudabout.  Here there is a HiperDino Supermarket, the overseas supermarket, a café/bar, a taxi rank and a bus stop.

If staying at Villa Isabella the nearest supermarkets are located at the Rubicon Marina.  Here there are also a variety of cafes and restaurant and other popular shops.

If staying at Villa Katarina, there are 2 supermarkets as mentioned above, a café/bar, taxi rank and bus stop directly across the road.

Do you need to hire a car?

No, car hire is not essential at all.  Playa Blanca fortunately has no hills and so everything is in walking distance and what’s not to like about taking a stroll in the sun.  There are plenty of taxi ranks and bus stops.  However, if you were thinking about car hire, I would highly recommend Autoreisen.  The beauty of a car means you can explore the island at your leisure.

Are the villas close together?

Yes!  Villa Katarina, Villa Mariesa and Villa Isabella are all within a 1.5km radius of each other.  Ideal for 2 families wanting to holiday together but still maintain some privacy.  Villa Isabella and Villa Mariesa are the closest villas, located only 500m metres apart.  You can actually see the villa complex entrance to Villa Mariesa from the complex entrance at Villa Isabella.

How big are the swimming pools?

The pool at Villa Mariesa is 5m x 3.5m x 1.5m depth

The pool at Villa Isabella is 4.5m x 4.5m x 1.6m depth

The pool at Villa Katarina is 5.5m x 4m (depth is 1.2m-1.5m)

All the pools at the villas can be heated for an additional fee of €60.00 per week, (special deals for longer stays) and all the pools have pool covers to help retain heat and keep the pool clean when not being used.

If plans change can I bring an additional guest?

All prices quoted for cover up to 4 guests staying.  If only 2 of you staying and you want to bring 1 or 2 other guests this is no problem and there will be no extra cost but I will need to know as all guests need to submit passport copies prior to arrival.

If you are staying in a villa that can host more than 4 people and you want to bring someone else, an additional cost per person per night will apply.

Are there any hidden costs?

All costs are made quite clear in our terms and conditions, but in short, the price quoted covers up to 4 people for that duration of stay.

A fully refundable security deposit applies to all first time guests and this is refunded back to the guests after check out once all the necessary checks have been completed.

There are some extra costs but only if guests require them; pool heating, travel cot, and air con, which is coin operated but very inexpensive to run.

Will someone be at the villa to greet me?

No, all your arrival information will be sent to you in advance of your stay.  You will have all of the information you require and you will be provided with contact numbers incase you need assistance or advice during your stay.  Please note, a member of the management team may visit you during your stay.
