From the airport:
Number 61 bus: this will take you to the main bus station at Playa Blanca. The cost is approx €3.50 per adult each way,

From here you could take a taxi to your required destination or you could take the number 30 bus. The tariff for the Number 30 bus is €1.40 per person no matter which stops you require.

The number 30 bus is ideal for guests staying at Villa Katarina as the bus stop can be seen from Villa Katarina’s entrance.

Car Rental

I always suggest ‘Autoreisen’ before a guest arrives in Lanzarote and you can collect the car from the airport. I like this company because there are no hidden charges with them, you get baby seats/booster seats for free and you do not give any credit card information before your holiday. You only pay at the airport.

When in Playa Blanca

Public Transport

If you need a taxi from the villa phone the following number and state your address. The taxi will wait for you at the entrance to the complex/outside villa.

There are a number of taxi ranks throughout Playa Blanca, one at the Papagayo Centre, one beside the Waitrose Supermarket, the Rubicon Marina and Playa Blanca centre.

Bus

The number 30 bus comes every half hour at quarter to and quarter past starting at 6.45 am (next bus 7.15 am) The last bus comes at 10.45 pm, the tariff is €1.40 per person no matter where you are going.
This bus stops at most points around Playa Blanca including the ferry port and beaches such as Playa Dorada and Playa Flamingo.

Buses from Playa Blanca to Other Destinations

Teguise Market: Fancy a trip to the market? The number 13 bus departs from the harbour at 9 am every Sunday morning. It also stops at the main bus station if you wanted to get on there. The return bus departs Teguise at 13.30pm
